Different faiths are officially weighing in on the need for climate change mitigation.

Major religions of the world are in agreement on the common threats posed by climate change. The Islamic Declaration on Climate, Buddhist Declaration on climate change, Rabbinic Letter on the Climate Crisis and Pope Francis’s papal encyclical letter all urge their followers to be aware of and combat climate change.
